The proverbial “king of beasts,” from the cat family also known man wild since earliest times are seen in South Africa on the road of Kruger National Park lying in the middle of the road. With the lockdown the lions have much stay and are in good use of it since they are little human activities.
In their latest tweet: “Kruger visitors that tourists do not normally see. #SALockdown This lion pride are usually resident on Kempiana Contractual Park, an area Kruger tourists do not see. This afternoon they were lying on the tar road just outside of Orpen Rest Camp”
Although visitors are banned, food delivery, fuel provision, security and emergency services as well as wildlife crime operations are continuing, South African National Parks (SANParks) said in a statement.
