American cultural icon, actor and film maker Tom Hanks speaks about him and his wife Rita Wilson experience fighting Covid19, he expressed the pain they both went through.
He narrated the experience saying “Rita went through a tougher time than I did, She had a much higher fever. She had lost her sense of taste and sense of smell.”
Speaking of himself he said: “had some bad body aches and was very fatigued, and that’s how the COVID-19 went through us.”
“It was relatively early in Australia’s response to the coronavirus, and they wanted us to not give it to anyone else, that’s why we were in lockdown.”
In an Instagram post he expressed gratitude to those taking care of them in isolation.
Hello folks. @ritawilson and I want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else. There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no? Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball. Hanx
