Emma Watson was relaxing in the warm sunshine as she enjoyed a sunny getaway with her pals in Italy on Tuesday.
The Harry Potter star, 30, sported a cropped black bikini top and mismatched neon orange bottoms as she took a shower by the sea after sunbathing during the holiday in Positano.
Emma’s break comes after she weighed into the ‘transphobia’ row sparked by J.K. Rowling, after the best-selling author penned an essay defending her stance on an article about ‘people who menstruate’.
Emma opted for a simple cropped black bikini top as she reclined on her sunbed before heading to the shower to cool off.
The Beauty and the Beast star teamed the top with neon orange bottoms and white flip flops, with her hair pulled into a top knot.
Emma also headed into the ocean for a swim with one of her female friends, before donning a green and white printed sarong to head into town.
During her sunbathing, she appeared to be in the midst of reading the psychology book Emergent Strategy: Shaping Chang by Adrienne Maree Brown.
Last month, Emma weighed in on the ‘transphobia’ row sparked by J.K. Rowling hours after the best-selling author penned an essay defending her stance.
Emma’s comments came after the acclaimed novelist penned a deeply personal essay to address the controversy, revealing she was sexually assaulted in her 20s and saying she still feels the scars of ‘domestic violence’ in her first marriage.
The screen star wrote on Twitter: ‘Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are.
‘I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are.’
